David Allen Burch Badge# 7535, LICENSED TO GUIDE IN THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES: HUNTING, FISHING, CAMPING AND HIKING.
David is experienced in all the above activities and love's to Fly fish. David has modified his canoe with an oarsman seat so 2 people could go out and fish while he rows you around. Sounds like fun doesn't it. Yes it Does - Hi there I'm David. I have several camping trips planned. 1) Two camping trips are to hike and or fish up either the Independence River which has brook trout or the Otter River which also has brook trout and brown trout. At a certain spot camp for the night. The next day hike and or fish to a point where you will exit and finish your hiking and or fishing trip.
If you are up for a bigger hike and or fishing trip:
2) I have one planned for three nights and four days. The first day will start in the town of Watson. We will hike on a trail along side the Independence River to Glesmans falls (which is breathtaking), here you can hear and feel the power of the water. Then continue on up river where you will set up camp do some fishing and/or exploring, perhaps some photography. I will gather the fire wood for cooking and heat. The next morning we will resume the hike to the Big Otter Lake. There will be a canoe waiting for your arrival if you want, (see rates) then set up camp and stay for two nights. While at the Big Otter Lake you can fish and/or hike to several near by ponds. I will transport the canoe for you to fish and/or canoe these ponds. I will be your oarsman. On the forth day we will then hike to the exit point near the village of Old Forge to end your hike and or fishing/camping adventure.
Davids rates vary per activity and are reasonable.
